Perfect Weekend

I just had a "perfect weekend". It started Friday afternoon leaving work early. Always a bonus!
The sun was out and I had on my flip flops!
I drove straight to North Bend and went to the Nike Outlet store and bought several things for work and running and for Luke. I love everything I bought and Luke's stuff all fits. Always a bonus!
Got an iced Americano for the road.
Drove to Mom and Dads Eltopia house. Had an awesome dinner of beets (my favorite), roasted asparagus (my favorite) and Israeli couscous with shredded chicken, with a glass of red wine. Always a bonus!
Then headed into town and meet a long lost high school friend I haven't seen in years, Jim Cronenwett. We went to The Dugout for drinks on Road 68. We got carded!! Always a bonus! Meant to take a picture of us but forgot. Jim looks great, and doing well, it was really good to see him.
Stayed the night at Mom and Dad's Pasco house.
Up and on the river trail at 8 am for my 17 mile run. It was absolutely, perfect, breathtakingly, scrumptiously delightful weather for a run. Ran by my Grandma Fernie and Papa's bench in Pasco. I always have to sit and say "hi". Got a little teary eyed this time. I miss them!!! Then up and over the blue bridge and through Columbia Park to say "Hi" to Uncle Dick's bench on the Richland side, sat and ate my "gel" and drank my Gatorade. 2 hours, 27 minutes and 32 seconds I was back and finished. Always a bonus!
Showered, ate, and dressed for Saul and Neddy's daughters wedding. Jennifer picked me up. 1 1/2 long service. It was very nice. What a beautiful family. I stole this picture off of Facebook. Thsi is the entire Martinez family.
Jen and Saul - Love them both. Have known then both darn near my entire life. Always a bonus!
Every time I tried to take a picture of the 3 of us together is was blurry. I don't know why.
After the wedding Jen dropped me off at the Pasco house and we visited until about 8:45 or so. I drank a glass of wine and was pooped. So I stayed another night there by myself. No phone (well except my cell), TV, kids or husband. Always a bonus! (only mom's will understand this I think).
Sunday up and had coffee and dressed, cleaned house. This house is so fun to clean.
Drove out to Eltopia house. Grandpa came over and we headed back into town to meet Jen and her grandpa Allen at Allen's retirement inn. We had a lovely lunch. They were the two cutest men in the joint, what lucky ladies Jen and I were. They are as sweet as they come. Report from Dad on Monday was that grandpa had a good time, no complaints are excuses. Always a bonus.
