Matt's Purple Team - he's the short one on the end

Note sure if I even got Matt in this picture.

There he is - running down the court. This was his last game. He sank a half court buzzer beater at the end of the game. He said it was the best feeling in his life!! Pretty cute!!

Off to Lacrosse now - Mark coaching, of course, matt is player in the red with #11 on the sleeve. This was a scrimmage game.

Lucs is in the middle of the picture. Red short, no pants, short socks.

Matt inbetween games

We got about 1 1/2 inches of snow last week. It was beautiful coming down. Some of it has not melted yet, we've had cold temp lately.

I think Boone liked the snow

Shopping in Bellevue

Here is cousin Marc and his fiance Andrea in Walla Walla Wine tasting during Thanksgiving. On Sunday I meet up with Auntie MJ, Nikki, Emery & Sawyer on to go shopping for the "mother of the groom" dress. She found one and it's perfect. It was sure fun shopping with girls. We had a fun day and MJ looked fabulious.

Emery trying on a dress. She loved twirling in them.

Sawyer is the best baby girl in the world. She does not cry. Well, her mom and dad don't agree with me, but I've never seen her really cry very hard. She's so cute.

Nikki's friend forever, Rachel, met us for coffee in the morning. Rachel has a almost 2 year old little boy and is 21 weeks pregnant and was just diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Keep her in your prayers.
Ok - This is our friend Steve. Steve is a pilot for UPS (What can brown do for you? you know the saying - he says "what can you do that's brown"?hahaha). We've know them for 5 years or so now and I have never ever seen him in his work attire. Keep in mind since we have never seen him in his work attire and his schedule will be on 2 weeks off 2 weeks, on 4 days off 6 says . . .so on and so forth. . . .(another example, this is his first day of going back to work for 96 days straight) we all tease him that he don't really have a job. So when he dropped Kari (his daughter who is friends with Lucas) off the other morning he was dressed and headed to work so I just had to take a picture. I have proof now!!

Not Much

My DSL has been out since late Thursday night. I don't like not having access to my email, facebook and blog. It came back on today - thank goodness - i was feeling a little disconnected from the world. Our phone line has been out since Thursday afternoon and is still out. Apparently it's due to all the flooding and wet weather we are having. Our house did not flood but many puddles and lots of extra water hanging around so I can see where water could affect the phone lines - I guess. I know of 3 neighbors who's phones are out too. With all the people over here whose houses have flooded I really don't want to make a big stink about my phone line being out for a few days. I called Qwest and they are supose to fix it by the 14th of Jan.

Did my annual body fat testing last night at Fleet Feet (a local running store) for memebers of their Marathon Training group. It's a program they offer to anyone intersted in training and running/jogging/walking a marathon. Last night was the big kick-off party where they receive their t-shirts, 16 week individualized programs and they can have their body fat tested if they choose to. I am going to be a coach for the program too. I can hardly wait - I'm very excited.

After that I went out with some friends to celebrate a birthday.

I took no pictures this week. But I feel like I need to include something. I'll scroll through and see what I can find to attach to this post. I'm not sure if it will appear at the top middle or end of the post - lets see!

Not going to happen. It's taking way to long to upload a photo. I think my DSL is still not 100%. Everything is running verrrrryy sloooooowwww... uuugggggggg

Christmas Break

Does Santa look familier?

Bellingham had 3 feet of snow
Lucas' new camo hat

I know I'm going to get a little friendly reminder from my dear freind Jen if I don't post something real soon =)

School started up again today. The kids have been out of school for 19 days. 16 of those days were scheduled break. They had 3 extra snow days tapped on prior to break starting. It was snowing when they went to bed so they were "for sure" school would be cancelled. Well they woke up to 40 degree weather and it had rained all night. oops not much snow on the ground after that. They were bummed you could say.

We went skiing on Friday with Rob, Trina, Ellie, Bobby and the 5 of us. It was knee deep in powder. Not being a real ski bunny I didn't realize these are the conditions all the skiiers want. It was fun and a beautiful day, cold though!
