Since I found out yesterday that I still have a job and a business, I've been a happy Mommy. So what do happy mommy's do when they are happy?? They take pictures of them with their 3 favorite boys.

Can you believe it. I still have not heard if I have been awarded the new contract for the fitness center where I am currently at. I submitted my bid on February 17. The current contract ends March 31st. Just waiting. . . . . . . . . patiently . . . . . . . . . . . to hear . . . . . . . . .. .what the selection is. IN THE MIDDLE OF WRITING THIS I GOT THE PHONE CALL - I GOT IT!!!!

I want you to know I think of posting on my blog everyday and then somehow my day is over and the blog never gets posted. I guess that's just how my life is these days. It's blowing by fast and furiously.

Here are a few things:
1. Finished The Help. Now I want to see the movie.
2. Matt started his baseball season. We are 0-2. Ouch. He did have a nice hit on Monday night. First inning, first at bat, hit a nice 'clothesline' double up the middle. It was pretty. We wont' talk about the next two at bats for the night.
3. Both boys had lacrosse games last weekend. Luke was in Kitsap at 10 am, they won 22-2. It wasn't a fun game. It was one of those where you just wanted it to be over, both sides wished that, I'm sure. Matt's game was at 6:45 pm in Auburn under the lights. That always makes it "way cooler". They beat North Seattle 17 - 12.
4. On our way to Kitsap we picked up Nate in Gig Harbor. He is home for his spring break. He also came out on Sunday for dinner. It was nice to have all 5 of us around the dinner table. That's something only a mom gets, isn't it?
5. This last week Matt has been going to try outs for tackle football. There are 3 clubs in our area; Wolfpack, Jr. Hornets and Raptors. Jr. Hornets club really want him to come play quarterback for them. He has had several parents ask him what his plan is, the coach has called him, and spoke to him after his baseball game. He has been eating up the attention. He is totally in his element. He decided to play for the Jr. Hornets. He called the coach last night to tell him. It's pretty cute watching him grow in this process.
6. My quote for the week: If you do what you always did, You will get what you always got!
7. Today is my Grandma Ditto's Birthday. I still miss her, a lot!!!!

Where have a been??

Yikes . . . . last post was Valentines Day.

1. Today is Thursday.
2. Still patiently waiting to hear about my contract. In other words will I have a job or not next month. I check my email every 5 seconds or maybe 4.
3. 6 mile down hill repeats today for work out. I'm training for the Eugene Marathon in April.
4. Luke registered for High School classes yesterday. O M GOSH
5. Might get flooring (carpet in bedroom and linoleum in bathroom) today or tomorrow.
6. Lacrosse season started last Saturday. Both boys teams won!!
7. I'm reading the book "The Help". I like it.
8. Matt has a birthday party tomorrow night for his friend Michael. Party is at Total Sports!
9. Woke up to snow on Tuesday morning, Today it's suppose to reach a high of 60. : ) Really??
10. Volleyball has been a big hit at Total Sports. I went by last night and it was packed. Baseball team on turf side and about 14 volleyball players and 2 coaches on the court side. With lots of parents tucked away in every corner trying to stay out of the way. Whoot Whoot I love Volleyball! Maybe I should start a senior team. teeheehee I'm just kiddin'

What? High School?????

We received an invitation in the mail the other day for White River High School Orientation- Yikes All Mighty! Really?!? I don't think I'm ready for this yet, but I guess I really don't have a choice in the matter. I better get ready because it's going to happen if I like it or not. And then I'm going to blink my little eyes ONE time and we will be attending H.S. graduation. Seriously where is the "SLOW DOWN BUTTON"!!! This Mom needs it.

The weekend of January 14-16 Matt, his friend Eric and I headed over to Eltopia. We stopped off at E-burg to see my nephew Bobby at CWU. He lives in Davis. His dorm is right next to Meisner which is where I was my first year at CWU. Bobby was cute and sweet as always. He had just finished baseball practice. Was headed to take a shower and then to baseball players party. Oh the fun college years!!

This was headed back home over the pass on Monday the 16th. Fun times in the snow.

On January 12 my Grandma Ditto passed away. I miss her more than I thought I would. She was so much apart of my life. I feel so lucky to have gotten to grow up right next door. She was full of life and loved to have fun and go go go!
